In Memory of Aster Assefa: Aster was a passionate supporter of SEED and the annual SEED awards dinner was one of the highlights of the year for Aster and her family. Every year the SEED awards dinner was a showpiece of Ethiopia's talent: outstanding professionals, world-class scientists, great teachers and humanitarians and brilliant young Ethiopians.

Tenagne & Samson Scholarship Fund
In Memory of Samson Samuel and Tenagne Gebreselassie: Tenagne and Samson were active members and supporters of SEED & its mission with Tenagne serving as a board member for several years. Upon the death of her life time friend and husband, Samson Samuel, Tenagne founded a scholarship in his honor aimed at educating under privileged children in Ethiopia.
