Hermela Kebede Hermela Kebede is an Executive Director of the Ethiopian Community Center in the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. She is one of the founding members of The Ethiopian Community Center and has served as a president for four years. She was also Chairperson of the Ethiopian Hunger Relief Coordinating Committee which in 1994, raised and channelled over $75,000 to victims of famine in Ethiopia. Hermela is winner of several awards for her dedicated efforts towards the welfare of refugees.   [ Back ]
