 Ato. Tesfay Lemma served the Ethiopian society for thirty years as author, composer, lyricist and artistic director and founder of Ethiopian folkloric ensembles. He is the author of TABLE TALK written in Amharic. Ato. Tesfaye also written the Ethiopian Musical Instruments booklet. In 94 & and 95 alone he composed over fifteen songs for distinguished Ethiopian performers such as Tilahuan and others. He is the founder of center for Ethiopian Arts and Culture whose purpose is to share the cultural heritage with Americans. Ato Tesfaye was also the Head of Ethiopian Musical Studies at Yared Music School in Addis Ababa.
