She has participated in various prestigious Fashion Shows in Paris, Milan, London, Tokyo, Barcelona, Dusseldorf etc. She is the founder of African Mosiaque. Her work in the spectrum of cultural diversity has impacted the fashion world. Printed and editorial work includes covers for American, European and African publication such as American and French Vogue, Maris Claire, Amina etc. Ms. Getaneh is the founder of the Ethiopian Children Fund Project that is currently housing over 80 children ages 3-8 attending school. The project is expected to provide education, boarding, vocational training, a clinic and agricultural program for over 550 children in Ethiopia. Ms. Getaneh speaks Amharic, English, French, and is a graduate of the University of Maryland, Belgium.
